Terms & conditions of the online shop and data protection

General about the online shop
Products of the online shop are sold by Sujula Oy, Business-ID FI3165204-4. We sell the products in Finland and EU/worldwide to private customers over the age of 18. Prices include VAT tax. We reserve the right to change prices and mailing costs without prior notice. Customer orders are not affected by any changes in shipping or product pricing. The terms below include all the products and services sold to consumers by Sujula Oy.
Products are mainly ordered through Internet from www.sujula.fi or www.sujula.com. We also accept orders by phone or email. All our orders are confirmed via e-mail. In the e-mail we state the price, mailing costs and list of products ordered. In order to get the confirmation, your e-mail address needs to be filled in when the order has been made. The Customer agrees to the terms and conditions when submitting an order. The customer is fully responsible for any customs/duties levied on their order, especially if the order is being shipped outside the EU/Schengen area. These countries may include the UK/Ireland depending on the decisions made by the EU council related to Brexit talks. Update: The United Kingdom is no longer be a member of the EU from 1 January 2021.
We send the order confirmation via e-mail with an invoice/receipt that states: –
Reference number/ Order number
– Products purchased
– Total price of the order (Including Taxes and Shipping/Handling costs)
All orders can be paid through our payment providers, which include Klarna Payments & Paypal (For credit cards and PayPal direct).
Orders are generally packed and shipped within 1-3 business days of payment check-in. (+ time spent transporting mail) In exceptional cases (illness, promotions, events or holidays) the delivery time may be longer, this will be informed as necessary.
Payment Service Provider
Klarna Payments & Paypal act as a collecting payment service provider and are an authorised Payment Institution. Sujula will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement depending on the payment method you choose. Klarna, Paytrail and Paypal will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact us directly with the contact information provided on our website.
Delivery method and shipping costs
The normal delivery of the products is 6 € / shipment, and free of charge for orders over 50 € within Finland. We deliver orders as a postal package that can be tracked with a tracking number. If delivery is requested as a “fragile” package, additional postage will be added according to the shipping price. More information can be found at www.posti.fi. Orders shipped outside of Finland utilize the most cost efficient shipping method which may include DHL, UPS, Postnord or others. Shipping costs for products outside of Finland are calculated based on the cheapest trackable shipping method, while ensuring the safety of the products packaged inside.
The order can also be picked up from the Sujula store within the opening hours. You will receive an email when your order is packed and picked up. The pick-up order can also be paid in the store, in which case the ordered products will be kept for 7 days from the order, Please take this into account when placing the order.
The exchange and return policies
According to the Finnish law on consumer protection, the customer has the right to exchange or return their purchased products for up to 14 days from the date of delivery of their purchased products. The right to return purchased products includes only unopened and resalable products in their original packaging.
Include the following in your return:
– Customer number, name, address and phone number
– Bank account number/ Method of payment
– Copy of order confirmation from Sujula OY
We don’t accept returns after 14 days from the date of delivery. Once a returned product has been accepted through reclamation handling, the money will be reimbursed directly to your bank account. If there is no notable flaw in the product and the customer wishes to return it anyway, the customer is responsible for the possible delivery fee. Sujula Oy will take care of return postage fees in the event the product received by the customer is defective or damaged, or if the wrong product was shipped by mistake. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of their order before making their purchase. In the event the customer accidentally orders the wrong product, they must contact us immediately after placing the order for us to rectify the issue. Refusal to pickup products after they have been delivered to your nearest Post locker is not an acceptable method of return.
If the order is returned to us without being collected, we will charge the order for shipping costs in both directions and 20% of the total amount of the order as processing costs.
Problem situations in delivery or return deliveries
If the product is flawed or damaged during the delivery or the wrong product has been delivered, you must inform us about the situation immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or via mail to:
Informing us about a flawed delivery or product has to be done as soon as possible within 14 days of delivery. The customer is required to make a reclamation with the post office, if the package has been damaged in mail.
Privacy & Safety
GDPR Compliance/ Data protection and usage of personal data
Sujula Oy handles all the customer information with care and confidence.
Sujula Oy agrees not to hand over any customer information to third parties. Customer data will not be handed outside Sujula Oy unless legally required. Personal data is used for the following purposes:
– taking care of and developing customer relations
– conducting customer service
– verifying customer transactions
– developing customer service and business
– analysis and statistics
– market research
– other similar purposes
Sujula’s customer data is handled only by its own staff and the following business partners that are obligated by the same data protection rules:
– Website hosting service (domainmaailmaa.fi) that has all the servers in Finland
– E-mail service provider (same as above)
– Website hosting service (Wix)
– Our payment channel Klarna & Paypal
– Logistics information is handled by Posti Oyj
– Book keeping services are provided by Digitase Oy (data storage 7 years)
– Invoicing system provider - Klarna Payments
– Provider of the online store - Wix
Protection and usage of personal data
Manually handled documents that contain personal data are destroyed appropriately latest after 24 months. Personal data stored on Sujula’s order or invoicing systems or website are stored and destroyed appropriately latest after 24 months from the last data allowance. All the data is collected and stored on servers that are protected with firewalls, passwords and other technical data security means including fingerprint readers. Only authorised personnel can access the data. Personal data is not transferred outside of EU or ETA unless technical handling of the data requires it. We do not sell/exchange your personal information with any third parties. Your data is only handled by the required business partners for us to continue business operations in handling your order and fulfillment of your order.
Changing the delivery terms
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions. The customer is obligated to read the latest terms and conditions before placing their order.
